Owner and Operator of Whitetail Hardwood Floors, Rob Welp has been in the hardwood flooring and contracting industry for over 15 years. A frame to finish carpenter, he began his career with a small family-owned flooring company of true craftsman. Working mainly on high-end homes, new construction, and remodels, he learned the trade with precision and artistry. After several years, Rob extended his skill set as a contractor building and remodeling decks and fences, honing custom trim and millwork technique, and expanding his overall expertise of wood installation and finish throughout a build.
Inevitably his passion and talents drew him back to hardwood floors. Committed to quality, efficiency, and client vision, Rob went out on his own in December 2010, officially opening Whitetail Hardwood Floors the following April. Based in St. Paul, Whitetail is proud to serve the greater Twin Cities area, central Minnesota, and western Wisconsin. Rob's wife Magdalene Welp is the small business owner and operator of Positive Body Dynamics Massage Clinic, St. Paul.
